Benchmark your nutrition care

Each participating institution receives a comprehensive report showing the unit's results in an anonymized way and in comparison with the worldwide average. This provides units with comparative feedback related to their own nutritional care situation.

Unit reports provide a snapshot of a health care institution which enables the strengths and weaknesses of the facility to be identified thereby paving the way for action and structural change.

The nutritionDay reports give feedback on the specific care and the nutritional situation of your institution and people admitted to it. It provides information about:

  • organisation and structures
  • disease specific information of patients or residents
  • weight monitoring, mobility and social contacts
  • nutritional habits and appetite
  • food intake
  • the patient's situation and outcome is re-assessed at a predetermined period 30/60/180 days after nutritionDay

The reports are sent to the participating unit via the online account “my nDay” immediately after data entry with the sole exception of ICU reports which are available in April of the following year. A minimum number of 8 patients/residents is normally needed to receive a report. Reports for specialist programs such as “oncology nutritionDay” are provided after the entry of one patient.
